Skype Video Calling for iPhone is now Officially AvailableWe previously reviewed about the announcement of iPhone having Skype video conference, here its now guys, Skype’s official iOS client has finally germinated the ability to make video calls. This video calling thing is supported by iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and fourth generation iPod touch users; the quality of video isn’t bad at all. You can communicate with your iPhone to any computer via Skype video calling. All the 3GS iPhone doesn’t have the front camera, but they won’t be having any difficulty using the rear one. You can easily receive videos from other 3rd generation phone users. This service is totally free if you want to connect via Wi-Fi or 3G. skype-video-iphone As Skype declared that there will be many more ANNOUNCEMENTS in the coming time. This thing basically relates to the fact that Skype video calling facility is still not available in Android and other mobile platforms, but I think let’s keep our finger crossed for the upcoming announcements. We just gave a try in calling iPhone to iPhone both using Wi-Fi, iPhone to Desktop using Wi-Fi and again iPhone to iPhone both using 3G, the first two worked great due to the Wi-Fi and same devices, iPhone with desktop was a little more better and 3G to 3G scenario isn’t much better than the other two. There is a drawback about the battery life that while using Skype video calling for only 10 minutes, battery was dropped by five levels.
